VFW Texas District 30 Honor Guard
District 30 Honor Guard, Cold Weather Uniform.
The District 30 Honor Guard consists of a dedicated team of fellow veterans and Ladies Auxiliary Supporters who volunteer their time to perform memorial ritual services free of charge. The District 30 Honor Guard performs burial site and funeral home services for departed veterans. Additionally, they represent District 30 at various Veterans Day and Memorial Day events throughout the five county district.
The Honor Guard performs the 21 gun salute and taps on bugle for graveside services. The Honor Guard Chaplain performs the graveside ceremony in conjunction with religious officials and funeral directors.
